Zulu Kane

the chronicle of a middle-aged filmmaker studying software development, who thinks creativity is too good an idea to be reserved for artists, microbloggers, colleagues, hamsters, bookmarkers, lifestreamers, losers, emailers, archivists or subscribers.

another September 11th:

An American-backed coup d’état in Chile overthrows the democratically elected President Salvador Allende and his government.  Allende would commit suicide the same day.

In his place, the country was ruled with a military junta/dictatorship run by Augusto Pinochet.

The new regime had a record of human rights violations.  Tens of thousands of Chilean citizens would be deprived of rights, torturted, and killed from 1973 to its demise seventeen years later in 1990.
